This past weekend, Mike Rogie, the editor of the Mountain Gazette, was in Mount Crested

Butte. And so in what seems like a very long time coming, Mike and I actually sat down in person

for the first time and just had a really interesting conversation about how things are going

with the Mountain Gazette, and we talk a good

bit about the current state of publishing and stories and media. There's no question. It's a really

interesting time, I'd say, in the whole global media landscape, and that is no less true when it comes to outdoor media.

So I think you're really going to enjoy this conversation. I really enjoyed talking to Mike

about how these last two years have been for him since he brought back Mountain Gazette.

And I have to say, I have been quite impressed at the level of the

writing and just the whole layout and the photography with Mountain Gazette. And I really liked

Mike's answer when I was asking him, like, what do you see happening next or where's the evolution

for Mountain Gazette? I think his answer to that

question was a very, very good one. Now, just two things before we get going here. We dropped our

Blister Labs video, which is the video of the panel session that we had at the Blister Summit this

past February, where you'll get to hear from some

of the key players in this Blister Labs initiative, and we talk about some of our current

on our website. It's been really interesting. There has been a lot of press
