My name is Jeff, and today Jereau and I are going to be talking about mountain biking in Europe.

So, Jeroe actually lives in Italy, in Turin, the Torin, the Torino area.

But before moving to Italy, Jero, you were living in Oregon. So how'd you

end up there in Europe? So I was living in Portland, Oregon. I was there for about 15 years,

and I met a friend in grad school who had a farm over here, and we kind of devised a loose plan to

start working on his farm.

It's just south of Florence in Italy.

And moved over, and that plan didn't pan out as they often don't.

And so we were riding up in the Alps one day and decided we wanted to live closer to the mountains.

So we moved up here.

Okay. So when you first got to Europe, you weren't living where you are now. You're planning

to settle in a different spot. That's right. Yeah, we were down in Tuscany, kind of close to the middle,

upper middle, northern middle of Italy, kind of just south of Florence. Yeah. Did the mountain biking play into your

decision at all to move to Italy, like even initially, were you like, okay, it can work on this

farm and also check out all the mountain biking? Yeah, absolutely. I had been over here, actually,

my partner and I had been over here for a race in Italy, the Alta Via stage race that

doesn't happen anymore. But it was a really cool eight-day cross-country race and just really

love the trails and noticed that there were really, there were trails everywhere, like kind of
