Greg and I are going to be doing sort of a roundup of the news from 2017 as it pertains to

mountain biking. Every Monday, each member of the single tracks staff shares what they learned

from the previous week. And this is actually a really important part of what we do and

who we are. And the upshot is we get to learn a lot of stuff and we're surprised by things that

we learn on a pretty regular basis. So again, as 2017 is wrapping up, we're here to talk about

the things that blew our minds this year. So I'm going to start it off by asking Greg and

Aaron, which new bike surprised you the most this year? I was actually most surprised by Pivot

launching an e-bike this year. And I guess I was just surprised because I didn't really expect Pivot

to jump on the e-bike bandwagon because they're pretty much just a mountain bike brand.

They have one gravel bike.

And while technically it's not available in the U.S., I guess I was still shocked.
