And so I think getting away from the habits and frankly the friends and the family that kind of influence them and keep them in the rut and keep them behaving the same way and reacting the same way to the same stimuli is an amazing opportunity for teenagers.

And you can be anyone you want when you get on a broadish program.

a longtime friend and influential mentor, Mutz Mueller, in today's episode. I wanted to give

a little preamble today because Mott's and I go way back.

And similar to my experience with the Woodwin and Captain Jen and her dad, Ken,

my experience at Broadreach, the company Mott's has been the director for and now owns,

was really foundational in how my career has evolved since then.

I worked at Broadreach. It was my first ever skipper job in 2008. And there's a fun little backstory here. I was living in Uppsala with Mia.

She was still in school. We shared an apartment in one of the student apartments with her friend Johanna.

And I was basically doing nothing. It's when I first

moved to Sweden the winter of 07 and 08. I would bike a lot during the daytime. I did some odd

jobs for a charter company in Stockholm. I was writing a lot in my blog, but I wasn't doing much.

And we were thinking of what to do that summer.

And I was listening to the Killers album called Sawdust,

which is like a covers album, basically, that came out a while back.

And there's a hidden track on the very end of

that album that I'll play in this in this intro called the captain or something and I did this
