Don't be the lowest price person out there.

Let me put a footnote to this one for your motivational minute.

Being the lowest price person is a race to the bottom. There can only be one person that can be the lowest price. After that, how do you compete? You guessed it on value. So no need to be the lowest price. You don't even want to be. Like that just denotes bad. To me, I don't ever pick the lowest price person. I might pick the person in the middle. A lot of times I pick the most expensive because that tells me I'm getting the best service unconsciously. I'm thinking that way. They got to be good. You know? But either way, you don't want people to buy on price when they're buying you. You want people to buy on the value and the messaging that you've conveyed, the individual that you are, what you stand for.

How about that?

What you stand for, not the price you stand for.
