On a previous podcast, sharing a story about my buddy and he's having some money troubles and just trying to help him through that.

And I shared a story about my mom and, you know, her last nine years on earth weren't exactly that glorious.

You know, when my mom did die, I want to just piggyback on that just for a second

on this motivational minute show. When she died, we cleaned out her house. So had an estate sale,

silverware, lamps, couches, just gave stuff away, sold some of it. Bottom line, everything she

accumulated was given away or sold for like a dollar that's it whole life gone

here you go you want it there you go so everything we accumulate is just going to be given away

sold in the state sale whatever the point of that is that's why i don't accumulate shiny objects

have no interest in accumulating shining objects because it's all i can't take it to the grave

with me i you know what i have i had i still I still don't even have. When I left my mom's house after we cleaned it out, I got her cane that she used to walk with and her plant that she named Phyllis, Phyllis the rhododendrum. The plant died. I don't even know. I think we kept that thing alive for a while, like a like year somehow the cane i have no idea where it is i don't even know if we still have it because

we've moved three times since then so there it is any memory outside of photos any memory that

from that house is gone accumulating that stuff which it's all just stuff is just a big waste of time

what do i enjoy accumulating memories i can always it up, yuck it up with a boys or a friend and family about stuff we did, things we did. That's the stuff that matters. That's the stuff that matters. All right. It's the motivational minute. Accumulating memories, not the stuff. All right. let's have a day to day and that's a wrap
