opportunity to speak with Dr. Ayelit Fishbach. She is the Jeffrey Breckenridge Keller Professor of Behavioral Science and

Marketing at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and she has a brand new book out. So she is basically a social scientist, a psychologist, who studies the science of motivation.

And she's really interested in, you know, how do we achieve our goals?

How do we focus on what it is that we want out of this life?

She specifically does research on things like self-control, intrinsic motivation, and social connection, as well as feedback, patience, a healthy lifestyle, and much more.

And her new book is called Get It Done,

Surprising Lessons from the Science of Motivation.
