And then many years later, Adam's out with his buddies, he goes to a bar, runs into the same teacher that told him to give it up. And it was the perfect time to just throw it in his face he's

i don't think i could have done that up until recently, meaning you mature in this process.

When you first get started and you got people telling you don't, you can't do it, who do you think you are? You just want to rub it in their face. But as you get older, you realize, you know what? It's not about them. It's not even about me. It's about the value I'm putting out there in the world. and I don't need to prove it to anybody.

So I thought that was a great story.
