It's the Motivation Minute 60 seconds of awesome sauce starting right now, you know, American

idols back on our families been watching that show for what 20 years now.

That show inspires me.

Those stories.

I mean, these kids coming out of the most the roughest childhoods and say, you know, like

they show the human interest story, the background, you know, one guy comes out of the, you know,

the ghetto somewhere or some girl comes out of Appalachia somewhere and single parent,

no parent, foster parents, they start singing, everybody cries.

Myself included my wife and I say, she goes, are you crying?

I'm not crying.

You're crying.

That's the stuff that gets me going.

I love those stories.

I tune in for the stories.

Not even so much the singing, but the background, if they can do it, you can do it.

They can do it.

I can do it.

That's the stuff that gets me jacked up.

That's why people want to hear your story about your background and how you were able

to do it, man.

I'm American Idol.

I'm happy.
