As you listen to this podcast, you might be putting into place some of the practical,

And it may be that your kids are like, well, what the podcast says? with you're

obviously are like well what the podcast say now because you're obviously changing things

up on me I hope that's the case I'm John Fuller along with Danny Werta who heads up

the focus on the family

parenting department. I mean Danny we're all about activating parents and we want to

help parents do this well and our kids are watching and they probably know

that we read a book or listen to a

podcast because now there's a new guideline or family model or whatever it is.

That's not a bad thing. No that's not a bad thing at all. They are watching

us and someday they may say hey I learned that from you and that's that's fantastic and they learn the bad and the good

Yeah, and so we just have to be aware of that and sometimes when we learn some new things it's good to say hey I learned something new and we're going to try this

and some kids depending on their personality will get on board with that and some of

the more difficult kids may not want to share just kind of apply it.

Yeah just apply it. But there are some kids that are really helpful. Yeah.

In making things work in the home, identify those and have their skills work with you in the parenting maybe give them some

leadership on setting up some new systems in your home.

Well I mentioned this last time over the past 12 months nearly 700,000 moms and dads have taken some of the advice they've gotten from focus and built a healthier, more God-honoring family.

We're grateful for that number. We're thankful if you're part of that crowd of people who have benefited from the ministry of focus in the family.
