It's Mothman, the film that never was.

It's a background story about a project about the Mothman that took place in the 90s that never made it to fruition.

And it is an interesting story.

It's before the Mothman prophecies that I think came out in 2002,

but after the John Keel book about the Mothman situation. But the interesting thing, I was doing some research,

and it's going to premiere at this year's Mothman Festival, which has taken off since the 90s.

Like, it's become almost kind of like uh the lockness monster or something like that

like festivals and things like that as stated but matthew can talk more about that so matthew welcome

to the show thanks william thanks for having me on so for people who may not know maybe you can

talk about the mothman point pleasant and how you got involved in this project,

the film that never was.

Well, where to begin?

The Moth Man of Point Pleasant.

It's a famous urban legend.

I became interested in it just as a kid really, like a lot of people.

You know, the Richard Gear movie, the urban legends, all that kind of thing.

Somewhere down the line, when it was heading towards the end of my teenage years,

this would have been a bit of a while ago now.
