| 0:22.6 | Guess where that liturgical calendar went? |

| 0:28.6 | But we can't skip Mother Teresa. |

| 0:33.6 | In fact, I had the great opportunity and gift to be at her canonization. |

| 0:42.3 | So today, we're going to meditate on Mother Teresa. |
| 0:48.3 | Mother Teresa was born in Albania in 1910, and she entered the Sisters of Loretto religious order in 1928. |
| 0:59.0 | She served in Bengal, India as a teacher for girls from wealthy families. |
| 1:05.0 | However, in 1942 she made a vow to give to God anything he may ask and not to refuse him anything. |
| 1:15.6 | On Tuesday, September 10, 1946, on a train bound for Darjeeling, she had a mystical encounter with Christ. |
| 1:27.4 | She saw a big crowd of people who cried out to her, |
| 1:30.3 | Come, come, save us, bring Jesus to us. And then she heard the voice of Jesus pleading with her. Come, come carry me into the holes of the poor. |

| 1:54.8 | This double invitation from the crowd of poor and from Jesus echoed throughout her life. |
