My entitled Mother Law steals my entire collection of vintage keys, selling it at a pawn shop,

just so she can buy herself a new phone. Things got so bad that the police got involved and my mother-law eventually

got arrested.

And now as a result, my wife is walking out of our house

claiming that I had no right to have her mother arrested.

And I'm honestly at the point where I'm considering a divorce,

leaving me completely unsure of what to do next.

Here's what happened.

Okay, so my mother-law is insanely entitled, and my wife's enabling of her has made our marriage very hard at times. My mother-law has come to us for money a lot

because she keeps spending herself into a hole since she is a hoarder and a shopaholic.

Her house is full of garbage, junk, and unopened stuff that she never uses.

The house is rodent infested too, and she has one semi-clean room in the whole building,

with that room being the master bedroom.

She's mocked it up like a little studio apartment with a futon to sleep on and use as a couch, an entertainment center with a TV and streaming, and a makeshift kitchen consisting of the adjoining bathroom, a mini fridge, and a microwave.

My mother-law is also overweight because she eats out a lot.

So anyways, recently my mother-law came to us wanting me specifically to buy her a new smartphone as an unprompted gift,

and she threw a fit when I refused, and I mean like a child temper tantrum kind of fit.

Now why did she want a new phone so suddenly? Hers was two years old.

That is literally it. As far as I know, it still worked fine. Even my wife has confirmed this.

But my mother-law was resolute that she deserved a new phone.

And before leaving, my mother-law yelled at us that we're supposed to be

pampering her now that she's an old woman, but she's only 53.
