I guess, going to spoil Mother, a now 26-year-old game. And if you have any intention to play in the

game, 36, is it? Oh my goodness. Okay, this is where I sort of realized just how old I actually am.

36-year-old game, then you need to stop the recording now and get to it.

It seems you may have views and feelings on whether or not it's worth doing that as we get to the end of the show.

But I recommend doing that now, if that's the case.

What is Mother?

So this was quite difficult for me when I was putting the game show notes together.

I went to the now famous starman.net, the home of everything that there is in the mother-stroke

Earthbound universe, and found the following quote,

it is Earthbound's moodyer, more verbose, and less scrutable older brother.

This is like a statement of intent for me actually because as part of the recording,

what I'd quite like to do is do what generally tends not to be done and take

earthbound out of the equation for the time being and look at Mother as its own independent

sort of bit of software and product.

So we'll get there as part of the recording there.

Obviously, there's a much more kind of interest in description of that, but I plan on doing that as part of the show notes.
