My entitled mother demands to take my Nintendo Switch, claiming that she has every right to take it from me

as she's the one that paid for it, despite the fact that it was a Christmas gift.

And I've honestly never been more blown away by her entitlement in my life.

Here's what happened.

So I've always had a strained relationship with my mom.

I won't go into details but just know that we never really got along very well.

And it only got worse as I got older.

Car rides are absolutely a nightmare because I'm stuck with her and our worst fights have

always usually been in the car. After my parents got divorced when I was about

13 years old I stayed with my mom because she was remaining in Canada,

which is where I've stayed my entire life, while my dad was moving down to America to be closer to his family,

being stuck with her during some of the hardest years of my life absolutely sucked.

And I even went to stay with my dad during COVID

because I just couldn't be in the house with her 24-7.

In the 10th grade, I decided I was going to move

in with my dad when I was done with school and as soon as I got out I packed up some clothes and I left.

I still visit my mom occasionally but because plane rides are expensive and we still have a lot of tension between us, I don't go very often.

Every time I visit, I bring back a little bit more of my stuff, and this will be important later on. One other thing that's

important is that for Christmas of 2021 I got a Nintendo switch and I know trust me I was

late to the party but in my defense I never really wanted one until then. I was so excited, especially

since I got a bunch of games with it. I didn't take it with me when I left. I had meant to bring
