0:00.0	My entitled mother demands that I have alcohol at my wedding,
0:03.5	even though we decided that we're going to have a dry wedding
0:06.2	specifically because of my mother's history with being an alcoholic.
0:09.7	And now she's causing massive problems,
0:11.9	and at this point I seriously don't know what to do.
0:14.2	Here's what happened.
0:15.2	So my fiance and I are getting married in two weeks in our backyard.
0:18.5	We will be having a catering spread for our reception afterwards and we decided to have a dry wedding for two reasons.
0:24.8	For starters, my mom is an alcoholic who is known for making a scene when she gets drunk.
0:29.6	And my fiance has a brother who binged drinks and has had alcohol poisoning on more than one occasion.
0:35.0	He doesn't drink all the time, but once he starts, he can't stop until he either passes out
0:39.4	or someone physically restrains him from getting more.
0:42.2	I also have an uncle who's my mom's
0:43.9	brother and a stepdad who are in recovery and they don't need that kind of
0:47.6	temptation. My fiance and I are also not big drinkers so we decided to just
0:52.2	avoid any problems and just have a dry
0:54.4	wedding now we will have a less dry reception and honeymoon with some of our
0:58.1	friends later on all of our families have been supportive my uncle was
1:01.7	especially grateful to us for doing this since he takes
1:04.4	his recovery very seriously and he has been seven years sober. I sent out wedding invitations
1:09.6	four months ago and said it would be a dry wedding and ask people not to bring alcohol.
1:14.0	That is until my entitled mother entered the picture.
