My grandpa was in D-Day.

Really?

That is one of the, like could you imagine being in a boat on the way there?

And then, not necessarily like the first wave because you don't know what you're getting into, but like, you're in, you're getting into but like you're in you're on boat 33 that you've already

seen you can see it kind of from the distance and you can hear it that is

absolutely insane my grapple was a paratrooper.

Jesus.

So he was not on a boat.

Still, that's even that might be worse because you just floating there.

Because that's before, that's round parachutes, that's just, you're just floating down.

You're just hoping that you lay in, but it's not even like the square ones or the rectangular ones where you can

like direct sort of where you're falling, you're just literally floating there.

You're just falling gracefully. Oh boy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah when after VE day he was on a ship

waiting to go to the Pacific when they found out that they'd won in the Pacific too and got to go home.

That's gotta be fun.
