Listen, what we live for at Living Proof is to serve people, the Word of God.

We base our ministry on Hebrews 412 that tells us that the Word is alive and active.

We pray this message is going to serve you in some way today and that God is going to

speak through it. Thank you so much for giving us this privilege. Matthew chapter 25, we are all

weekend long, three solid sessions studying one section of scripture. And it's Matthew 25 versus 14 through 30. Now before I read you the

parable, I want to give you some context because we're starting in verse 14. If you have a little

segment title right over 14, would somebody tell me what it says? The parable of what?

Tell me one more time.

Look at someone next to you and say, we're studying the parable of the talents.

Because we're going to work some talents out this weekend.

Oh, yes, we are.

Oh, yes, we are.

The Holy Spirit is going to come in and be our talent scout in this house this weekend.

But we're going to notice in verse 14 that it's going to begin like this,

for it will be like a man going on a journey.

Well, we can't go any further with an it until we identify what it is.

So for just one moment, would you glance back to the beginning of the chapter,

Matthew 25, verse 1, then the kingdom of heaven will be like.

God has really called me this year in Living Proof Live in all sorts of different dimensions and directions to, I mean, come and teach the kingdom of God to over and over say again, this is what Jesus preached.

This was his primary theme, the kingdom of God, the kingdom of our living Lord Jesus Christ. And so in the parable we're about to read, that it is the kingdom of heaven. So the kingdom of heaven will be like. Now, a parable we're about to read, it is the kingdom of heaven.

So the kingdom of heaven will be like.
