Hey guys, welcome to the Bill Barnwell Show. I am Bill Barnwell. Today, it is an absolute delight

to have this man joining us, not just the host of fantasy focus, not just a man who contributes regularly to our NFL programming

and does it in incredible fashion. But joining me today to break down his first, I believe,

this cycle, mock draft. Is that correct, Field Deitz? My first, since I was a child, Bill, I mean,

I've been doing mock drafts just sort of casually, yes, but I tell Mel Kuyper Jr. all the time,

I was criticizing his mock drafts when I was about 12 years old and saying, there's absolutely

no way you could have that guy going this high in the draft. It's a matter of fact, Bill,

one of the players that I distinctly remember having in one of my mock drafts, and this would go

all the way back to, I believe, 2011 or 2012, I should know this better. But I remember, and again,

I wasn't like studying the tape of these guys, but Brian Anger, of course, still punting in the NFL and doing so at a high level bill.

I remember being the sicker that was like, you know what?

I might use a fourth round pick on him.

He ends up going in the third round, and perhaps the joke is on all the draft analysts, myself included, that thought, really, you're going to take Brian Anger in the third round when

there are all the other players available. But it's a deep cut right there. And as you know, Bill,

I mean, the draft is just the best because it is the one event during the year, the one

where every team is afforded some level of hope, right? Because not everybody has a ton of

picks, not everybody has a bunch of premium picks,

but as the RAM showed us last year, you don't need a lot of picks or a lot of premium

picks to totally change the complexion of your roster.

Absolutely.

Great, great example to bring up field, not just Brian Enger, who, hey, never wrong, just early,

I think is the attitude we're going to adopt here. I think you nailed it 12 years ago.
