I really didn't know what day it was when I woke this morning, but let me tell you.

Let me apologize now for the F bomb that flew out of my mouth.

I know that we're on NBCSN now, and I know that kids watch the show, and I do apologize.

As Sims would say say kids got to learn

sometime but it was hard to have to leave the Super Bowl. I mean, we're at the Super Bowl. It's the

highlight of the year. And in the moment it was a no-brainer because if I had stayed there

and fought it out until the game ended and we did one hour live on Peacock and NBCSN,

I probably would have left in an ambulance at some point before I got to the finish line.

Like I was doing all the projection and it's like, I know which way this is going because it hits me once a year.

I know exactly which way it's going. I know

exactly how it's going to end. I know how bad it's going to hurt between now and then to the

point where it's a struggle to walk upright. And so it just, it was, it was, it was not easy to, even though the game sucked.

And I appreciate very much.

Rick Cordella, the president of NBC Sports, texted me to make sure I was okay.

And he said, don't worry about it.

You didn't miss anything.

He's a Patriots fan, by the way.

And he's like, you're probably better off, probably better off that you weren't here

to watch that game.
