Welcome to The Low Post Podcast and what a Monday night it was in the NBA.

Steph and Curry went berserk again, left poor George Hill somewhere along the red line at Philadelphia.

We had a possible phantom foul decide a barn burner overtime game between the sons and the

bucks as the sons continue there in probable chase of the number one seed. Nicole Yokechho

hum 4715 and eight and double overtime with the game winning three. And John Moran almost won that

game by throwing a pass off the backboard to himself. What an absolutely audacious player, John Moran is.

But the highlight came in Philly. The MVP discourses down to Yokechho and B. Yokechho and B. And we'll

have a word on that before we get into what happened in Philly last night. I was leaning in B. By a

teensy teensy margin before you heard his name. I'm on the side now. I haven't decided. It absolutely

sucks to have an injury change the MVP race. It's also something that happens almost every season.

It's not a new thing. Yokech has played 800 more minutes than him beat 800. That has to matter.

And again, I'm not saying who I'm voting for this season more than any season ever has taught us

to wait until the end. And there's a new candidate emerging that we're about to talk about right now.

But I have never seen a minute gap of that magnitude just being dismissed in some segments of the

media way that that minute gap between Yokech and B. It has been dismissed again in some

segments of the media. And I get that this season is unlike any other. And I do think it's actually

correct to factor in games and minutes played a little bit less than usual given the pandemic
