happened in the last week in regards to, of course, the Idaho case and Brian Koberger recapping,

we know that he was indicted by a grand jury. And what that meant in the bigger picture was, of course, that now the hearing

that was supposed to occur, the probable cause hearing on June 26th, all of that now is null and

void. The grand jury indictment, the true bill issued by the grand jury supersedes that and sort of overpowers

that and now there is no need for a probable cause hearing. However, what does that do from a legal

perspective? And many people that aren't familiar with the criminal justice system saw this as an unfair advantage that the prosecution used against the defense in regards to the prosecution of Brian Coburger.

However, the defense uses many strategies to create doubt because that is their job, a defense in our system and an adversarial system where the prosecution has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant charge, in fact, is guilty of the crime charged.

And the defense's job, as we all know, is to create doubt.

And they'll do that in any number of ways.

And one of the big things we heard also this week was when on Monday,

when Brian Koberger was arraigned, instead of pleading guilty through his attorney, he chose to stand and remain silent.

And in our procedure, the trial judge, it actually's name was Judge Judge, how I propose for a judge to be named judge.
