It always feels a little momentous to start typing that for the first time to start opening

new folders for new posts on my computer to start writing irrevocable words in the New Year's day planner. But here we are. My goal this year is to be nice to myself.

After starting out with a ridiculously ambitious list of goals last year, which included publishing an insane

five books, which did not happen.

I decided it's time to stop expecting myself to do the impossible.

And this year my goals are much more reasonable. They include

releasing the audiobook of Creating Character Arts within the next month I hope.

I'm also excited to announce that with the help of master programmer Bob Miller, I will be releasing my first ever computer

program based on the outlining your novel workbook, which will allow you to access all the information

in the book while outlining your own novel in real time.

More on that soon, but we should be seeing its release no later than spring.

As for books, I plan to release the much requested workbook companion to creating character

works. My historical superhero work in progress Wayfair will be off to another round of

critiquers soon. And I should be starting in on my portal fantasy

sequel Dreambreakers first draft by spring and on a purely personal front I'm

wanting to sneak in a little camping in the Wyoming mountains and remodel my basement.

Still sounds like a lot, but compared to last year, I feel like this is all stuff I can accomplish,
