episode comes out. Crazyness. Yeah. That is crazy. Obviously, this list is not exhaustive. Is that the

word? Exhaustive? This list is not a whole list of the only books we're going to read in 2026.

There's going to be books that we're obviously excited to read, but we're just sharing a few in this episode.

But before we do that, it's been a real long time since we've done this.

But we're going to pick books for each other to read.

But before we do that, we're going to report back on the books

that we chose for each other like six months ago. It was a long time ago. It was a really long time.

Redd, let's start with you. You picked sort of cayenne for me. And we briefly touched on this in a previous episode because we were talking about our five-star

reads for the year.

It was a five-star read for Kennedy, but it wasn't for me.

But I was convinced almost the entire time I was reading it that it was going to be five stars.

The tricky thing is the author meant to continue the story.

I think so.

Maybe.

I think they were supposed to be interconnected standalone fantasy books.

I think.

Okay.

I'm sure if I were to read it again, I'd maybe appreciate the ending more.

But I was kind of like, oh, that's how we're

ending the book, okay? But like, I don't want that to, like, dissuade anyone from, like,

not reading it because it was a very fantastic book. It's, yeah, the main character in that book, Kennedy, I feel like the reason you picked this book for me is because the female main character is a mom of like three, three or four kids.
