Hello, welcome back to Scripture Central. I'm Lynn Hilton Wilson, and this is Jack Welch.

We are really excited to talk today about Mosiah,

25, 26, and 27, 28.

We're back in Zarahemla. Everybody's together. We've got Al-Madhi Sr. or the elder and the people, King Mosiah, we've got the people of Limai joining in. We've got the Mulekites listening in fascination to all these stories. We're finally back together.

And one of the first things they do is they bring everyone together, and these people read their story.

They read their reports. So they've prepared some kind of an official record. So we learn the record of Xenif.

And we learn the record of Alma. And everybody's interested in hearing them, even though they're coming from different places.

Not everyone is a descendant of Lehigh.

And in fact, this is the first place where we hear the name, because it's always been called the people of Zarahemla.

This is the first time they call them Melech, Meulek.

And I'm fascinated with that name because remember in the ancient Hebrew there's no vowel. So it's

MLK, which means king, just like Melchizedic, king of righteousness. And now we have the child of,

if you remember back in Omni, the son of King Zedekaya, who is taken to the new world.

The son of King Zedekiah is called the king, Melek, the people of the king.

They retain the name Mulek because that was the honorific head.

And although Mulek was a very young son, he was able to be carried away, probably didn't know what was going on, but someone wanted to get him as far away from the danger as Jerusalem was being destroyed and all the other sons of the king were of course killed who knew how to sail. They were probably led by some of the guards or kings. I think they were righteous people.
