0:00.0	So today, in this scripture block that we're going to be covering, we're going to be focusing
0:04.9	on what it means to become a true Christian and why that's important, especially in today's
0:11.6	world, to become a true Christian and how you become this true follower of Christ, which
0:16.6	involves taking His name upon you, obtaining a remission of your sins, retaining that remission
0:22.1	of your sins. The quick overview of what we're going to be covering in Mosiah's chapters,
0:28.4	Mosaic chapters 1, 2, and 3 is chapter 1, he's teaching his children, his sons, and preparing
0:35.7	them, because Benjamin's right at the end of his life. He's
0:37.9	going to pass away three years after this speech. And so he's preparing them, teaching them
0:42.8	about the scriptures and the importance of the brass plates and about passing on these
0:46.8	prophetic traditions to the people. Then in chapter two, he begins his speech at the temple
0:51.3	and addresses some really important concepts that we're going to
0:55.7	discuss briefly. And then chapter three is a message that he receives from an angel to deliver
1:02.3	to the people. And then in next week's lesson, we'll finish with chapter four, which is the
1:06.8	conclusion of the speech, chapter five, the outcome of the speech.
1:10.9	And when we were talking about becoming true Christians, it turns out in English,
1:15.8	words that begin with be, that word there actually means fully or completely, 100%. And we
1:23.8	have lots of words in our language that do that. For example, the word beware means to be 100% and fully aware, or Jesus is the beloved.
1:33.5	It means he's 100% fully loved by God.
1:36.9	And so becoming literally means to have fully arrived.
1:42.2	And we only do that through Jesus Christ. So as we are becoming, it actually, we're on
1:46.6	this path, this plan of salvation. The planet salvation is the covenant path. And as we hold
1:52.1	to the rod, as we've talked about in previous videos, and we are becoming true Christians
