1:34.5	Shannon earned a bachelor's degree in Near Eastern studies from Brigham Young University. A master of
1:39.6	studies in Jewish studies from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Near Eastern languages and
1:45.9	cultures with a graduate interdisciplinary specialization in religions of the ancient
1:51.6	Mediterranean from Ohio State University. He and his wife, Thora, have seven children.
