Well, I tell you what, a lot has happened in a week.

Since the last money guys show, this is the money guys show.

Welcome to the show, I'm your host, Brian Preston, and what we're here to do is restore

order to your financial chaos.

As you know, I'm a certified financial planner running by day, a fee-only financial planning

firm, and I'm here to try to restore order to your financial chaos.

But like I was talking about, a lot of things have happened in the last week.

Since the last talk to you guys, it seems like the government has decided they're going

to get involved with this whole lending mess and everything that's going on out there

in the mortgage industry and the mortgage market and all the consumers that are involved

with that.

And even though I had other things to talk about, I felt like it was so important to go

ahead and kind of back up and come back and look at this new proposal that came out,

really thirsty, and then a lot of the publications like the Wall Street Journal had, you know,

analysis of it in their Friday morning papers.

And that's what we've been able to pull together, and we're going to talk about that today.
