Well, it was Star Wars Day last week.

I don't know if it was anything that you were involved with, but pop culture phenomenon

continues and people get dressed up as their favorite characters.

And that happened at a theme restaurant called Cocoa Vanilla Galactic Cantina in Alberta, Canada.

To celebrate Star Wars Day, one of their female employees dressed in full storm trooper outfit,

wandered around the street to try to drum up some business not far from the restaurant.

Well, she was holding a toy stormtrooper blaster gun.

And a few people saw that and called the cops.

Apparently they mistook it for a real gun, even though the woman was in full costume.

Well, the police showed up, they pulled their real guns on her, pushed her to the ground,

handcuffed her, and put her in the

police car. It took about an hour before everything was sorted out, and she was released without any

charges. The owner of the restaurant says he's been talking with employees' families about

potentially taking action against the cops. You know, it seems like an overreaction,

but the cops have to do what the cops have to do.
