One thing we've seen with Morons in the News since quarantine began is we're getting the kind of moron stories that we wouldn't have even been able to imagine just a few months ago. Here's today's moron of the day. It happened in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A judge there in Broward County,

the Broward Circuit judge, his honor, Dennis Bailey, has had enough with attorneys showing up for

hearings via Zoom video without any pants on and in some cases still lying in bed. Here's what

Judge Bailey said.

Quote, it is remarkable how many attorneys appear inappropriately on camera.

One male lawyer was shirtless.

One female lawyer was still in bed and still under the covers.

He went on to say, he went on to say, if you are an attorney, putting on a beach cover

up will not cover up the fact that your poolside in a bathing suit. Just because we're in a

coronavirus shutdown does not mean you can't come to court without your pants. He said, lawyers are often not looking at their screens.

They're looking down at files, outlines or notes, or sometimes they're looking out the window,

and they can't see that the judge is hollering stop because an objection has been made,

and the audio stays with the witness rather than obeying the judge.
