Hello and welcome back to Scripture Central. We're here to talk about the last book in the Book of Mormon,

Moronai Chapter 10. I'm Lynn Hilton Wilson. And I'm Jack Welch, and it is a real pleasure as we approach Christmas.

To end the Book of Mormon in Moronai Chapter 10, where he says that he extends these words to all the

ends of the earth, inviting all to come under Christ.

And here we are at Christmas.

Yes, yes, yes.

The theme of this whole book, Come Under Christ, the theme of this chapter, especially.

And Maroni, right there, well, at the very end of this, his final farewell, come unto Christ.

That ought to be a Christmas card for everyone.

And I think this is really in the book of Maronai, it's his only words. You know, he begins that

chapter one, just a little bit of that post script, oops, I'm still here. But to me, this is his

third conclusion. He concluded in the book of Mormon, in the book of ether, and now it's his

final, final words. And he maybe doesn't know whether it's his final words.

I don't know what's going to happen next, but he's going to bury the plates at this point.

And he tells us the year.

Yeah.

So it's 420, 421.

And he's probably getting weary, getting old.

He has wandered alone for a long time.

For 35, 36 years.

And I don't blame him for saying, okay, I think I know what to do with these plates.

I know where to return them to the place where they belong.
