How was your weekend? We got all that to get into on a morning run in which we're back with the morning run after a week off for the Christmas holiday.

That's right. We had a wonderful week. We didn't become a billion dollars richer, but we certainly were richer for all of the incredible experiences we had over this holiday week.

Yes, but we do begin our morning run in Plains, Georgia, with some sad news.

Our 39th president, Jimmy Carter, has passed away at his home at the incredible age of 100 on Sunday afternoon.

Now, if you turned on the TV yesterday, you saw this coverage everywhere.

You saw it everywhere online, people talking about him and a lot of tributes coming in.

But we did get word from President Biden that, in fact, Carter's State funeral will be held in D.C. on January 9th, that day is going to officially be a national day of mourning across the

country, and the president has ordered all U.S. flags to fly half staff for 30 days following Carter's
