Morning Run with Amy and T.J. An I-Heart Radio podcast. Good morning, everyone. Thanks for joining us for today's morning run. It's Wednesday, November 12th. I'm Amy Roboc. And I'm T.J. Holmes. Did you see the lights? Everybody's talking about the lights. We woke up to text messages from people showing us the lights. Yes, Aurora Borealis, a hell of a show last night. I mean, I have gone to the Arctic Circle, I think, three or four times and never got to see them until the last time. Annalise woke up, or I guess she was staying up late in Boulder, Colorado, my youngest, and she sent the most gorgeous pictures.

I mean, my goodness, pink, purple, green, lighting up the sky in Colorado.

And a lot of people all over the country got to see this extraordinary show.

Some of them even got a little bit of a show this morning.

I didn't see it. You got some cloud cover. I don't think New York was really on the list of places, but about half the country was able to possibly see, yes, this storm. Essentially, there's a storm going on at the sun. Those particles make their way here to us. All that stuff interacts with our atmosphere and the gases, and it causes the lights. That's the short story, but it was a hell of a show last night.

Sorry, we missed it. Hope you all got to see it. Well, maybe some members of Congress got to see it on

their way back to D.C. Yes, the House of Representatives going to be at work for the first time in two

months. It. About time.

They make $174,000 a year. And never missed a paycheck. And also have missed a bunch of days of

work and you, a lot of you out there have missed paychecks. You've missed food benefits, all kinds of

things. But yes, there's a lot to report on that front. And the other thing, this has a personal note here? Has everybody seen the latest episode of All's Fair on Hulu? The Kim Kardashian Show. This is my new obsession. Yes, but it was actually, ah. It's my new, I can't, I can't get enough. Even after the last episode, you still want to keep watching. Can't get enough of that show. I cannot get it. It's like my Megan Markle. Remember I got obsessed with that show on Netflix? It's my new obsession. So you all please check that out. Yeah. You know what? I love to look at all of the home design and the fashion choices. So for that alone, I will watch with you.

Choices, not ideas, because this stuff is way... They're not to be replicated.

Yes, folks, but a lot to get to on this Wednesday morning run. Also, on this run, we'll be talking

about your Thanksgiving travel plans, JFK's grandson, Jimmy Kimmel, baby formula, whooping cough, and mega millions,

all that on this morning's run. But we have to start robes with the shutdown. It's still

happening, right? Yeah, it's day 43 of the government shutdown. And if all goes as well today

in Washington as they say it may, this shutdown will not get to a day 44.

From our lips to God's ears, right? A House committee overnight voted to send the Senate-approved

compromise bill to the full House for a vote which could come as early as this afternoon.

So this bill does not guarantee an extension of health care subsidies. Yes,

those Obamacare subsidies, which was the Democrat stated purpose of shutting down the government.
