Hope you settled. Wherever you are, you should probably sit down inside right now. Not going to leave for a week. This storm. This is all everybody's talking about.

What did you say?

The local reporter, a local weather guy just said. He just said today on Friday is going to be the

warmest day for the rest of the month. And today is the what? Today is third. Wow. Yeah. Eight days days left. Of a tundra, a polar vortex-inspired temperatures. Yeah, we just saw the seven-day up there, and it said 18, 19, 25, 24. Those are the highs for each of those days. So everybody is getting settled. You know this thing is coming. You've seen everybody

talking about it. You're taking your preparations. But today is going to be your turn. Dallas, Memphis,

Little Rock, today is your day. Alerts, emergency declarations are all over pretty much two-thirds of

the country right now, but snow and ice robes. And falling temperatures are going to be the issues where some of those

major southern cities going through kind of the mid-south.

Yeah, temperatures they're not used to seeing at all.

Unfortunately, we're a little used to it, and it's still difficult.

But, yeah, folks in Nashville, Charlotte, Raleigh, they're going to get the worst of it starting

on Saturday.

And ice is the major

issue. Ice is so much more problematic than snow, just given what it does to the roads, to your

power lines, to tree limbs. There is so much danger associated with ice. And then in Chicago, Minneapolis,

Madison, we think we're cold here. We said 18. We're talking 30 and 40 below. That's the

wind chill? Oh, yeah. Okay, because actual temperatures, that would be hard to get my head around.

But still, what does it have? What is the temperature if you end up at 30 or 40 below, right? It's cold there.

I've never gotten more heat probably in any live reporting

I've done than when I went to Minneapolis and complained about it being cold. Everybody from Minneapolis

came after me. This is how we roll. Yes, and they have skywalks to get from building to building.
