Hey, welcome to the Politics by Faith morning motivation. Thanks for being here. This week, we're

talking about managing your household well. First Timothy three list of qualifications. You need to be an overseer in the church. One of them is funny. He must manage his household well. But I've never heard anyone ask that question. Are you managing your household well? So let's talk about it. Why is this important, first of all?

Well, he goes on.

If someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church?

Makes sense.

Adam and Eve were created to manage and rule over God's creation.

So as image bearers, something we talked about last week on the main podcast, we are given

this same mandate. Manage well. Manage what well? Well, your household. This amazing thing that God

has given you. One way I am not managing my household well, I will admit, is yelling.

I yelled at my six-year-old the other day.

You want to know why?

Because he was yelling at his two-year-old brother.
