Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has come out and commented on her separate but equal holiday party.

Turns out it was all one big honest mistake.

But she's not saying her aide didn't accidentally

cordially invite all elected's of color, whatever the hell that means,

to a non-whites party.

The email had no typos, the date, time, and location were perfectly accurate.

Wu told W.C.B, I think we've all been in a position where an email went out and there was a mistake in the recipient.

The mistake, Wu says, was sending the email to white people. She's

doubling down on her racism. I think we've we've had individual conversations

with everyone so people understand that it was truly

just an honest mistake that went out in typing the email field and I look forward to celebrating

with everyone at the holiday parties that we will have besides this one as well.

So it is my intention that we can again be a city that lives our values and create space for all kinds of communities to come together.

In other words, holiday equity means more parties for minorities.

And the only reprimanding that aid will get is for not having a
