And we are following that breaking news out of South Florida right now.

Rescue crews are on the scene of a partial building collapse in Miami-Dade County.

Video obtained by NBC News shows what appears to be a pile of rubble from the collapse.

It happened to the town of Surfside, just outside of Miami Beach.

This building is on Collins Avenue.

A witness on the scene says, stay across the street at a hotel and forced to evacuate.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue says 80 units are now responding, along with police and multiple fire departments are there on the scene as well.

We're still awaiting any word of injuries.

in a moment. Again, that's on Collins Avenue in Surfside, just outside Miami Beach. A large

building of about 100 units, 40 years old, built in 1981 called Champlain Tower South Condo.

The collapse was first reported around 2 o'clock in the morning. Undoubtedly, people

asleep in the building at that time. No word yet on casualties, but we will have a live report

in just a moment. We'll come back to that in just a second. Let's turn that a potential breakthrough

on bipartisan infrastructure talks. The group of senators negotiating a package has agreed to a framework

and we'll head to the

White House to meet with President Biden today. Specifics of the deal, including how it would be

paid for, have not yet been released. Lawmakers, though, did seem optimistic when they left a

closed-door meeting with White House officials last night. Republicans and Democrats have come together along with the White House,

and we've agreed on a framework, and we're going to be heading to the White House tomorrow.
