Russia widens its attacks in Ukraine with airstrikes on new targets, including two in the western part of the country, thought to be a safe haven.

Also, Russia continues to pound the battered city of Maripole, preventing much-needed aid from getting in and civilians from getting out. Plus, scrambling for reinforcements

as the Russian military struggles, Vladimir Putin this morning approved the use of up to 16,000

foreign fighters from the Middle East. And the U.S. continues to sound the alarm, warning that Russia may be gearing up to use

biological and chemical weapons. We'll hear from the CIA director. Also, Vice President

Kamala Harris on the move this morning, this video coming in from Warsaw as she met with troops

from the U.S. and Poland.

Russia is stepping up its offensive across Ukraine this morning, launching fresh airstrikes and hitting new targets away from the main offensive.

Three Russian strikes hit the central city of Nipro, killing one person.

According to Ukraine's state emergency services, the strikes were close to a kindergarten and an apartment building.

Airstrikes also hit two locations in Western Ukraine, temporarily shutting down two boiler houses.

Local officials say one person was killed in those attacks. Again, moving west.

This, as U.S. officials are warning, that Russian troops

are now just 10 miles from the center city of the capital, Kiev. New satellite images

yesterday released that show massive military convoy, which was stalled outside the city, has now dispersed and fanned out

into towns and forests near the city. Willie.
