0:27.3	Let's dive right in. The Senate yesterday signaled the effort to convict Donald Trump in his second impeachment.
0:35.3	Likely, they'll come up short. Only five Senate Republicans voted to move forward
0:40.4	with the trial. Joining all Democrats and voting down, Senator Rand Paul's measure to dismiss the
0:48.2	case because Trump is no longer in office. If Trump is to be convicted for inciting an insurrection,
0:56.6	17 Senate Republicans would need to join all 50 Democrats.
1:02.7	The only Republicans voting to continue with the trial were
1:06.2	Senator Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Mitt Romney, Ben Sass, and Pat Toomey.
1:14.8	Senator Rob Portman later said his vote declaring the trial unconstitutional was in favor of debating the issue and was not a sign of whether he'd vote to acquit.
