Look, I didn't over promise, and but I have probably outperform when anybody thought would happen.

But one of the things that I think is something that, one thing I haven't been able to do so far,

is get my Republican friends to get in the game of making things better in this country.

He said we're not going back to lockdowns and also conceded. His

administration waited too long to ramp up testing, addressing inflation. He gave a nod to the feds

shift toward higher interest rates, saying he respects the central bank's independence. On his stalled

agenda, the president laid much of the blame on Republicans,

saying they are more obstructionist now than during the Obama administration.

When asked about voting rights, which Senate Republicans blocked last night,

the president said without the election overhauled, the midterms, quote,

could easily be illegitimate.

On his build-back better program, the president said it's, quote, clear he would have to break

it up and mention two items he wants but may not get the child tax credit and free community

college. He said vice president, Kamala Harris Harris will be his running mate in 2024.

By the way, this is just a summary, which proves her point. This thing went on for long.

He gave reporters a lot of time. Yeah, he gave Willie. This is like, you know, you see a four

and a half hour move and you're like, yeah, there were some good

parts.

There were some parts where the director lost the plot.
