I'm going to try something a little different today than like my normal breakdowns. This going to be like a quicker more of a shorter

podcast you know really just kind of focusing more on pitching than anything else and we'll see how

Wasn't going to do a podcast for this slate,

but I thought it was an excellent opportunity to kind of change and try out this like more of a pitcher breakdown broadcasts.

Or when I'm talking like, for instance for instance about sale I'm going to talk like

what kind of hitters if you are going to target hitters and just really focus more on the

pitchers and not break down every hitter so I expect this podcast to be about 15 minutes

so nice little um one or two mile jog while you're

listening to the podcast and there you go. What's up, Derek? Hope you're having an awesome Wednesday

night over here on, uh, YouTube. What's up, DJ? Yeah, it's early. I, like I said, I wasn't

really planning on doing it. I was doing some

research for the slate and I was like, hey, you know, I'm going to try this new thing out and

we'll see how it goes. But we're going to get started here. Atlanta at Philadelphia, seven and a

total Philadelphia minus 120 favorite. It is a double header for this game. Chris Sale against

Zach Wheeler to get started here. Chris Sale, he's been pitching

really good recently, really looking like Chris Sale of last season, 29.5% Ks, 6% walks. When we look

at this matchup against Philadelphia, two of their best hitters in this lineup are left-handed with Harper and Schwerber.

And while they've been good against lefties, Chris Sale throughout his career has dominated left-handed hitters and a little bit of his numbers this year, Babbup related more than anything else.

So I really like this spot for sale. Really like the price point.

Pitch count is up. I mean, at least 95 pitches here in eight straight starts. So, yeah, I think

he's one of the top pitchers on this slate. Last time he faced Philadelphia, kind of
