I was preparing for this podcast last night.

When news came through about half past 10 about Adam Lallana, it's been reported on the echoes website by our chief

LFC writer Ian Doyle. But what's it all about Matt? Yeah, it's an interesting story.

It's one that we sort of expected to be talking about at some

stage I think and yeah Adam Alana it seems is going to extend his contract just in

short term to cover the rest of this season because of course it was due to

expire on June the 30th so he'll extend that just by a few weeks purely and

simply to get him to the end of this season and Liverpool really and

you can stop in particular I think will have pushed for this they were

keen to reward his season really he's obviously played a fairly significant

role when you think of the late equalizer against Manchester

United at Old Trafford to keep alive at that stage the the unbeaten run and that sort of thing.

He's played a big role and off the pitch as well
