Summary

Governor Cuomo of New York is here to talk about the state of COVID and NY, as the cases continue to decrease, he is sending ventilators to both New Jersey and Michigan. He is also extending the stay at home order until May 15th and putting in place orders to wear masks in public areas, i.e. buses, car services, etc. Cuomo was quoted today as saying “I trust in New Yorkers” to do the right thing. Cuomo is also taking a close look at the nursing homes in New York, of which there are 613. Cuomo also pushed back against the accusation from the President that he is padding the number of deaths.
