I recorded the interview with Vinny

yesterday. Vinny's been doing radio in Baltimore for several years now. He's been talking

Ravens, been talking about this matchup all week long. We talked a lot about the game, a lot

about the Ravens, and of course, we veered a bit into the past, and Vinny dropped a few

nuggets on us about the 2000 season in particular, and the free agent class, one player

specifically how he was acquired. Vinnie Serrato coming up here in a moment. Look, you Maryland fans that listen to the podcast,

and I know there are many of you that do, I don't know what to tell you.

They're not a good football team right now. They are struggling, I think, offensively from a quarterback

position, from a consistency in being able to run the ball, in trying to own the line

of scrimmage against some of the opponents they have faced, and they're just not getting it

done. They have real good skill position players, Ty Felton, Caden, Prather, Roman Hemby,

but this is a very disappointing season so far.

There's no doubt about it.

They were a favorite against Michigan State and lost.
