You know, sometimes there's a reason why we don't believe in ourselves, right? But they always say,

believe in yourself, believe in yourself, believe in yourself, like it's a simple thing. And yeah,

sometimes we do. Sometimes we feel powerful, unstoppable. Sometimes we don't. And more than just a day or two, sometimes we don't.

And more than just a day or two, sometimes we're in seasons, years of a lack of belief in our abilities,

stuck within ourselves, caged within ourselves.

And it's not because we're broken. It's not because God has given more belief to somebody else.

I don't know.

It's not because we're not good enough.

It's not even because we're afraid.

Sometimes it's simply because we just lack proof.

We have no proof. What do you mean, Heinz? Think about it like this, right?

Belief is easier when there's something tangible to hold on to. We believe fire is hot because

we felt it. We believe a chair can hold our weight

because we sat on it a thousand times before.

We believe in gravity because we've never seen

a human float away on its own.

But then when it comes to ourselves,

our talents, our dreams, our ability to change our own lives,

sometimes there's nothing. No track record, no list of wins,

no personal evidence that we can do it. We've never been here before. So doubt creeps in.

And we start telling ourselves, maybe I can't.

Evidence nurtures confidence.
