Dipping into the archive for stories about super forecasting, wood burning stoves and

We'll start with a rather strange political story, which has been running in the UK over

the last few weeks.

Boris Johnson's new British government employed a man called Andrew Sabisky as a forecaster,

as part of their advertised attempt to hire talented, misfit some weirdos to help improve

the way government works.

But it was revealed Mr. Sabisky had made lots of comments in the past on topics such as

eugenics and race.

After a few days of press attention he resigned.

His boss Dominic Cummings, the Prime Minister's chief advisor, was asked to comment.

His reply?

A book recommendation.

We've sort of cataloged super forecasters.
