Good morning, campers.

Alan Jerry, don't worry, it's only an hour long, and most days it doesn't sun. Hi, what is up? A couple minutes after 5 o'clock midweek. It is Wednesday, Wednesday, Connor, I don't think I've ever worked with Connor Green. How about that? He is, I don't know why he's here, but he's here this morning, and that's very nice to see you, and Flegelman, he'll be in, uh, come up in just a little while. Al is off. He will be back next week, uh, as his vacation, uh, of like, a third of like five vacations comes to an end, though Al is going to, um, I'm not going to say where, but he is flying somewhere tomorrow, and he is pulling the ultimate non-L Dukes move. Not only is he flying somewhere, I will say, because I believe Eddie did mention it the other day, or maybe it was Flegelman, not sure. He is actually flying somewhere across the country of sorts and coming back like 36 hours later, very unal. But he will be back. On Monday, we got Boomerangio coming up at 6 o'clock.

So a couple of different ways we could start here. I could start with the Yankees and Vulpe and Freed and Bellinger, and I'll get to them in a moment. But again, because if you're just waking up, that means you probably didn't watch the Met game. I just finished pretty much watching a lot of it over the last hour and a half when I got here.

Mets lose last night, 7-1 if you didn't just hear Marco and you just turn the radio on. They fall in San Diego. Game closer than that because the game got away late on the Mets. Jose Buto was a gas can. Davensky gives up a home run to Manny Machado, and so 7-1 looks worse than it was.

But my takeaway from this game is very simple, and it's kind of a continuation of what I was

talking about yesterday, and that is this team is going to go nowhere if they cannot hit with runners in scoring position and they cannot

drive and runs. You know, last night, I don't know if it'll be highlighted or not. I'm really not

sure. We can talk about one Soto fouling the ball off his foot coming out of the game because had

he not, he would have been in this mix that I'm going to talk about in a moment and maybe things are different, not sure. But he did foul the ball off his foot. He did leave the game. So he wasn't there in this situation. I think he's going to be fine. I listen to his post game press conference. He doesn't seem overly concerned. So that's a good thing. and you know the guy wants to play and he's out there every day. So I would expect if he's not out there this afternoon,

he'll be back on Friday, all fine. Sean Maniah last night, pretty good. 86 pitches. You look at his pitch count. I think 66 of them were strikes. He pumps the strike zone. Gave up a run over five innings. I understand they're trying to build them up. I would have liked to have seen him go back out for this.

But you understand what they did.

No problem.

Okay, good.

The fifth inning is where this game is lost.

The Metser trailing won nothing.

They get a couple of walks and a base hit.
