Summary

This week Podcast of Champions hosts Ryan Abraham and David Woods breakdown the newest batch of bad news for the Arizona State football program, two prominent players choosing to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal following the conclusion of spring football. Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (ASU's top receiver and originally from Tempe) and linebacker Eric Gentry (consensus freshman All-American) have both decided to enter the portal. From SunDevilSource's Chris Karpman: "They would have been two of the team’s most important players. Things are going from bad to worse for the Sun Devils." They also recap the lone spring game for the Pac-12 this past weekend, the Oregon State Beavers. OSU still three healthy quarterbacks now, giving last year's starter Chance Nolan some competition in practice. The Beavs also have a more aggressive defense under new defensive coordinator Trent Bray. Coming up this weekend there are six more Pac-12 spring games: UCLA, Utah, USC, Colorado, Washington State and Oregon will all be in action on the Pac-12 Networks (except USC will be on ESPN). Finishing off the show the guys discuss two articles featuring Pac-12 programs this week, the fall of Colorado's football program over on the Athletic and USC head coach Lincoln Riley talking about life throwing him a curveball over on the Players Tribune. As always Dave and Ryan spend the last part of the show answering your voicemails, texts and emails with questions about Pac-12 football plus lots of other topics.
