point look at culture from a Christian worldview.

I'm John Stone Street with a point.

According to a recent study by Pew research, young men are now more likely than

young women to say they want children.

Specifically, 57% of young men compared to only 45% a minority of young women.

Now on one hand this could indicate that more young men are now pushing back against the cultural

stereotypes of being forever boys content to play video games forever and live at home and not make much of their lives.

On the other hand, a culture in which less than half of young women aspire to have families,

well that's troubling indeed, not to mention unsustainable.

And this is yet another example where the bad ideas about self,

others in society that emerge from the very bad idea of absolute autonomy

as the meaning of life leads to a world of victims.

A better future will require both women and men

to embrace God's design that it's good for both us

and his world.
