Today's episode will focus on sharing some practical advice for recent

graduates. We're in graduation season now and that got me reflecting on my own

various graduations from high school, from college, from law school, and also the high school graduations and college graduation of my daughters.

When my younger daughter, Eleanor, graduated from high school, I was thrilled and honored to be invited to give the commencement address.

For that occasion, I wanted to explore transcendent timeless themes.

I wanted to tell a few good stories, maybe get a few jokes in, and I wanted to be brief.

That meant that there were many concrete useful suggestions that did not make it into

the actual commencement address that I delivered.

Nevertheless, I couldn't resist writing up everything that I wanted to say,
